Treatment Options
Treatment is performed in our clinic. The procedure chosen is dependant upon age, health, skin type, and amount of rejuvenation necessary to satisfy the goals of treatment. Facial rejuvenation falls into the following categories:

  • Topical Products

  • Fillers and Botulinum Toxin Rejuvenation (Botox)

Soft tissue fillers are used to soften furrows and hollows in the face, reduce wrinkles, and give the skin a smoother and more youthful looking appearance. Fillers are very effective at contouring specific areas of the face, such as around the lips and mouth, and can correct depressions and scars.

Filler substances included self-donated fat (where fat is removed from one part of the body and injected into another part), hyaluronic acid, hydroxyapatite, and poly-L-lactic acid.

Botox injections will diminish lines and wrinkles associated with muscle use due to facial expressions. Microdroplet amounts of Botox are carefully injected into specific muscles of the face that will reduce lines and wrinkles. It’s used to treat crows feet around the eyes, the “elevens” between the brows, and the long lines of the forehead. It may also be used to soften neck lines and bands, wrinkles under the eyes, and uneven facial expressions.

  • Dermabrasion
This is a procedure that mechanically sands down the skin to remove layers of skin that are damaged and aged. The process will leave the skin smooth to achieve a brightened appearance. This is used to treat scarring, discoloration, and intense sun damage. The results are quite remarkable and long lasting.
  • Chemical Peels
Peels are used to treat wrinkles on the face, even out skin discoloration, and eliminate age spots. A chemical solution, or medicine, is applied to the outer layers of skin, which stimulates new skin growth. The new skin is smoother, less wrinkled, and more even in color. The peeling may last just a few days to a week, depending on the strength of the peel.
  • Plasma Technology
Improves fine lines and wrinkles by utilizing the body’s natural growth factors.
  • Surgical Excision
If surgery is appropriate, Dr Jensen may remove moles, scars, and skin growths which enlarge and grow with age.
  • Tumescent Liposuction
Invented by dermatologists, this minimally invasive procedure is used to removed unwanted fat. When used on the face, it can eliminate double chin, sagging jowls, and improve the contours of the face and neck area.
  • Neck and Jowl Treatments
Depending on how advanced the condition, treatment options include peels, Botox, liposuction, or neck lifting.
